Danny Roberts and his wife were in a serious automobile accident on May 2nd, around noon, in Jacksonville, FL. Details will be posted here as soon as they are availible. We ask that everyone please keep Danny and his family in their thoughts and prayers.

Monday, May 5th, 2008: I am so happy to have a good report to give you. This morning when Babs and I were driving to see Danny at 9 am, we were both praying for progress. When we got there, he could clearly recognize us. I asked him if he could see me and he nodded yes. The neurosurgeon came in and asked him to obey some simple commands and he got an "A"...YOUR PRAYERS ARE WORKING!!! Please keep them coming because he has a long road ahead. -Gail

    Best Music Venues of Lakeland held a wonderful live show, on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Polk Theatre in Lakeland, Florida: Living by Night in the Land of Opportunity Tour: Returning to Lakeland after 30 Years on the Road in the Music Business. The show featured Jeff Calder and the Swimming Pool Q's, The Mudbreakers featuring former Tom Petty guitar player Danny Roberts and new Rascals bass player Charlie Souza of the Tropics, with special guest Conrad Oberg, and the Take 5 featuring former Wet Willie guitarist Larry Berwald, with Frankie Everett, Johnny Rhodes, Woody Lowe, Jim Haley, and Oren 'Doc' Plous.
