Danny Roberts has returned to the stage!

 
 
And you can watch a video of Danny playing on Friday, June 20th with Conrad Oberg. Conrad  performs the Robert Johnson Classic...Stop Breakin' Down. Musicians include: Danny Roberts on guitar, David Oullette on bass, Bruce Stewart on drums.

Benefit for Danny Roberts @ Skipper's Smokehouse July 13th
 
 

This event is being organized by Tampa Music and Friends of Mr. DanBob Roberts. Thanks to Johnny G. Lyons for reaching out to help their old friend and bandmate DannyRoberts. The date of July 13th is firm so please make your plans now to attend this first benefit for Danny and the Roberts family while on the road to recovery!

You can keep up to date on the bands that will be playing and maybe some special guests that will appear @ Skippers. As of today, featuring:

Many LHS'ers have been asking about the book and its availability. I will do my best to keep the website updated, especially the calendar, so those who are inquiring about book signings and speaking engagements may be able to check the website for that information.
 
ANY referrals to friends and family members will be greatly appreciated. The book was written for a plan and a purpose. I sincerely hope it reaches the hands of those whom it may help or encourage!

Lakeland Music and Friends is dedicated to musicians and friends that are influenced, inspired, or raised in the area of Lakeland, Florida. The site features a bulletin board where friends can keep in touch, mp3's and video of the featured artists, biographies and stories, and extensive photo galleries.

    Best Music Venues of Lakeland held a wonderful live show, on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Polk Theatre in Lakeland, Florida: Living by Night in the Land of Opportunity Tour: Returning to Lakeland after 30 Years on the Road in the Music Business. The show featured Jeff Calder and the Swimming Pool Q's, The Mudbreakers featuring former Tom Petty guitar player Danny Roberts and new Rascals bass player Charlie Souza of the Tropics, with special guest Conrad Oberg, and the Take 5 featuring former Wet Willie guitarist Larry Berwald, with Frankie Everett, Johnny Rhodes, Woody Lowe, Jim Haley, and Oren 'Doc' Plous.
