Danny, we're waiting for an update from you!!!

Dearest Sharonsky,
Uhm, seeing as you axed, I'll try to 'splain mice-elf. THERAPY!!! Throw in a doctor's visit every so-often and you might have a general idea. I just got back from speach-therapy and occupational-therapy. Speach-ther is really cool, as the girl is right-loverly and smart-2-boot. She keeps me on my mental toes, plus I have someone to entertain for most of an hour, so Lawd Have Mercy on her poor ears when I leave! Occupational is more on the mindless side, as I manipulate wads of funky clay-stuff, then go wear-out a few nice machines and drift-off into some other non-parellel universe. So, I walk outa the place in good shape, generically-speaking.
That was today. Yestidy I went up to J'ville and saw - or was SEEN - by my ornithologist. Got dialated and probed with all kindsa toys and devices. Hafta wait 3 months for surgery, but evrythings basically going about like it should be. Had one surgeon who worked on me right after the 'dent stop and tell me something real-good. He was amazed that I was as recovered as I was so soon, even tho it's been a while, in my own little brainsky. Then we went over to my lil sister's place, where I helped her figure-out a few thangs on her computr-based audio workstation, which runs a new version of the same software that I've been using for about 16-years. Did some deep-digging, but everything was still where I could access it, so I was as happy as she was when I headed home. I then slept like there was no tomorrow.
Tomorrow, hmmmn - MORE OF THE SAME! But everybody's happy as a clam! This is kinda-like SCHOOL for me, which I didn't really pay much attention to in my 'younger-years'. Plus, the teachers are younger than me and it seems to be progressing nicely.
That's been about it, as I haven't worried too-much about giggin', although I'm about to get on the phone and start working on that today. Oh yeah, an old writing-bud who I worked with years-ago, Robert Nix - ex-drummer for Roy Orbison (back when Roy was hot the FIRST time, when the Beatles were opening for Roy), the drummer for Atlanta Rhythm Section - called me a few days-ago. Wants to do something, so we'll see. His wife recently won "The Best Un-Signed" competition up in Memphis and is quite-hot! He and I wrote a bunch of tunes back in the 'dark-ages', so we'll probably do something like that sometime soon. Might even be playin' a gig down 'thataway' in the near-future, so I'll keep you posted.
Otherwise, just avoiding the rain, then gettin' outside and walkin' my little-girl Stella when it's darker and a little cooler afterwards.
Just tawked with Johnny G. Lyons a minute-ago. Good guy, good stuff, as he's playin' at a 'benefit' gig on Sunday, July 13th at "Skipper's Smoke-House" and Blues-atorium in Tampa, along with some other old friends. I think I'm gonna cry! I wonder if I'll just cry outa one eye?!? But he wanted to see how-much of a 'Veg' he'd be dealin' with, so I played myself as the 'I recently hit my haid' dude, then let him know I'd received many 'deliveries' of mice-old self on a steady basis, so he knows better than to try to 'get-away' with my credit cards or anything like that! But seriously - it should be big fun! I'm gonna debut my new "Blue Soft-Shoe" act at the gig, so be ready for some fancy-dancin'!!!
That's about it, fer now, so now I get to axe you: "How are YOU doin'?" You gettin' better? Hope all's swell. Tell me about it. It'll do ya good. Gotta go do some kinda therapy or something.....

Hence and Here-after, Danny Roberts

Pee-Ess - Hello to all. PLEASE come to the Skipper's gig.

Hey Danny, glad to hear from you! You have got such a great attitude about everything, and your sense of humor will see you through this as well. I just love reading your posts written in your own unique Dan-Bob vernacular! I'm doing well, physically... It appears that I'm going to have a permanent indentation in the back of my skull where the staples were... but ya know, that's kinda cool, because it'll just be a reminder to me of how extremely lucky I was, ya know? On another matter... I got laid off two weeks ago, so that's a bit of a downer (understatement). But once again, I will have to say that I believe that things happen for a reason, and I know that this is just another one of life's little challenges (or one of God's little tests!), and I just know somehow (don't ask me how!) that things will work out in the end... I am hoping to be at the Skipper's show, but if not... then I'll definitely be there in spirit! I'm not surprised one bit that you're astonishing the doctors and your therapists. It sounds like your brain is unscrambling itself a little more every day! Keep it up, Danny!
Peace and Hugs, Sharon
