i've known hank since i was 12 years old, he lived with me and my family for awhile after high school. we played lots of music together, stole each others girlfriends a few times, had numerous fights and had way more great times together. hank was hank he was a total pain in the ass and the sweetest guy in the world, he was a great musician and songwriter, we played with some absolutely great musicians together and apart. i am heart broken, he was and will always be my "other brother". i will be dedicating our next show at the polk theatre to him, his memory will always be in my music........i love you brother........henry orvis turner II..........f.e
Sorry for the mistype on Hanks middle name should read Orvis. Can anyone help me out with Hanks parents name and his siblings names. I know that Hank didn't discuss this too much with anyone, but talked about living with the Gollers and the Williams families.
Believe he has one sister here in Lakeland named Ginger. If you can add anything to Hank's family I would appreciate it.

Hank had a sister Connie....she helped me out many time when I was young really sweet person she passed away a few years back from cancer. I don't know much about his parents though... god i'm gonna miss that boy. we reconnected on myspace a little over a year ago..bantered back and forth with the email....I'm really gonna miss that as I know many will... that grin and the twinkle in his ornery eys....oxoxo Happy Trails
Hank, Hank, Hank...we are all gonna miss our crazy friend. His unique humor, his funny barbed wit, his heart of gold.
The man always spoke his mind and you always knew where you stood with him. When I asked his opinion about some of my photography he always gave thoughtful responses; his sister had loved photography and he had the eye and an appreciation for it.
Hank had sent my friend Deb a racy email that did not include me in the loop. Deb had asked him why he didn't include me and he replied that he couldn't do that, I was his sister.
Peace to our brother. He had a hard life but never let it get in the way of enjoying living and his friends.
Hank and I were only married briefly, but dated what seemed to be a lifetime and I had a crush on him for years before that. Frankie stood me up one evening and Hank was there. I guess Hank decided I wasn't too young for him afterall.
Hank does have a neice, a half brother, aunt, uncle and cousins and his sister Ginger. But his family was always his friends, and especially his music and music buddies.
Bless your bones Henry, I'll miss you.

News today Nov. 17th, 2008 that Hank passed away in Tampa this past week of apparent natural causes. The passing of Hank is a shock to us all. Several of us just got together Oct. 18th for some jamming over @ Pat McCarthy house. Hank seemed to in fairly good health, but has had some issue having seisures for quite some time. About 2 months ago, Hank told me he had one of the worst in about 20 years, that had caused damage to his room and himself and was passed out for a period of time that wasn't sure how long he was out.
God Bless Henry Orvil "Hank" Turner
