First off I want to thank you,Carey for doing a piece on my buddy "Hammerin Hank".This is very hard to even type this.We were very close friends.Lakeland Jr High,The boys club, many nights at various music events such as the Teen Midway, the old Tigertown hanger, the old civic center. We chased after the same girls, and just like guitar he beat me at that too.JUst one of many many stories i could tell on Hank.Every time i saw him,you know how he would hit you in the arm really hard!He would yell at me for almost getting us arrested in front of the daytona speedway, where upon i had a verbal spat w/ a fine officer of the lew from the daytona police dept.Hank would bring it up every time about how we "got away".Im sorry i missed the gathering, but this will have to be my goodbye to Hank.Hope hes "hammering on that bass somewhere.
